Farnborough Aerospace Consortium (FAC) is a not-for-profit trade association acting as a facilitator of business between large global primes and the supply chain and as an enabler of business support to its members and partners.  It is one of the largest and most established aerospace and defence associations in the UK, providing support to, and furthering the long-term strategic growth of the sector in the South East.

After 14 nights in the air, QinetiQ have now landed its Zephyr solar powered unmanned aircraft!
Zephyr successfully landed after 14 days (336 hours) and 21 minutes flying over Arizona and is now awaiting official confirmation of its world record status.

New online forum for South East Companies


A new website facility from UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) offers practical benefits - it allows South East exporting companies to engage in an ongoing dialogue, sharing experiences and tapping into each other's knowledge of dealing with the challenges of international trade.

UKTI South East's International Trade Forum went live in mid August and can be viewed here.

It is aimed primarily at companies in the South East and access to the site to upload views, information and questions is determined by postcode.  However, companies everywhere can view the content.
